Introducing the 2026–2027 Real Estate Circle Fellows
The Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate is pleased to introduce McKenna Carter ’27, Hunter Morris ’27, and Arturo Pacheco ’27 as the 2026–2027 Real Estate Circle Fellows.
The Real Estate Circle Fellowship is awarded to a select group of 2nd-year students who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership capability as well as academic excellence. Ambitious and energetic, these students have a proven record of success and are recognized for their potential to become future leaders in the real estate industry, colleagues to our exceptionally distinguished Columbia Business School real estate alumni, and engaged supporters of the next generation of students.
Selection as a Real Estate Circle Fellow provides partial tuition support for the student’s second academic year, invitations to select Real Estate Circle events throughout the year, and an invitation to the distinguished Annual Real Estate Forum. Following graduation, Fellows also receive two years of membership in the Real Estate Circle, connecting them with Columbia Business School’s real estate alumni community as they begin their careers.
The Real Estate Circle is Columbia Business School’s largest industry-focused alumni community, bringing together leaders across the real estate industry through meaningful engagement, thought leadership, and lifelong connections. Through annual membership commitments, alumni support the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate and help strengthen the MBA Real Estate program and alumni community for future generations.
Meet the 2026–2027 Fellows
McKenna Carter '27
McKenna Carter is a second-year MBA candidate focused on Real Estate and Climate, with experience spanning business development at JLL and data center development at Giga Energy. Driven by a passion for regenerative development, she aspires to shape a more sustainable and resilient built environment through thoughtful investment and development.
Hunter Morris '27
Hunter is a second-year MBA candidate at Columbia Business School focused on real estate finance and development. He recently completed a summer internship with PTM Partners in Fort Lauderdale, where he worked on the acquisitions team evaluating multifamily development opportunities and supporting the firm’s Opportunity Zone funds and new workforce housing strategy. Hunter is also the founder of Morris Real Estate Solutions, through which he acquires and renovates single-family homes to hold as long-term rentals. Prior to Columbia, he served eight years as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he held leadership roles in marine casualty investigations and commercial vessel inspections. At CBS, he serves as VP of Domestic Treks for the Real Estate Association and VP of Alumni Relations for the Veterans Club.
Arturo Pacheco '27
Arturo Pacheco is a second-year MBA candidate at Columbia Business School and a Real Estate Circle Fellow at the Paul Milstein Center, focused on the MBA real estate pathway. In his early career years, he acquired and operated small value-add residential assets on his own while in the Army. Prior to Columbia, he spent eight years as a U.S. Army officer, leading soldiers at Fort Stewart, in Germany, and in Poland; where he learned to build teams and execute under pressure. Those same instincts drew him to Real Estate Development, where capital, design, construction, and community all have to come together on a project. This past summer he worked at GFP Real Estate on office-to-residential conversions in Lower Manhattan. Long-term, he plans to build a development platform in South Florida.
