Meet the 2023-2024 Circle Fellows

The Real Estate Circle Fellowship is awarded to a select group of 2nd Year students who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership capability as well as academic excellence. Ambitious and energetic, these students have a proven record of success and are recognized for their potential to become future leaders in the real estate industry, colleagues to our exceptionally distinguished Columbia Business School real estate alumni, and engaged supporters of the next generation of students. The Paul Milstein Center is pleased to announce Ali Mac Jinks '24, Ruby Wang '24, and Ned Yale '24 as this year's fellows.

Ali Mac Jinks '24

 

Originally from southern Georgia, Ali Mac graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2017. She honed her skills in business management and analytics while working on a variety of consumer credit programs at Capital One Financial during her 4.5 years prior to business school. At Columbia, she has focused on transitioning to the real estate industry, getting very involved on campus and ultimately being elected as Co-President of the Real Estate Association. Over the summer, Ali Mac interned as an Investments Associate at Beachwold Residential in New York. Her career goal is to focus on community development and investment.

Ruby Wang '24

 

Ruby Wang interned at Welltower (NYSE:WELL) as an investments associate this past summer. She is the VP of Alumni and Mentorship at the Real Estate Association and Cluster President of Cluster H. Prior to attending business school, Ruby worked as a Commercial Broker at NAI Commercial in Vancouver, Canada. She graduated from National Taiwan University in 2017, majoring in Accounting. She is originally from Taipei and Vancouver and currently lives in NYC.

 

 

 

Ned Yale '24

 

Ned Yale is a member of the Columbia Business School class of 2024, focusing on Real Estate and currently serves as VP of Treks for the Real Estate Association. Ned graduated from University of Maryland with a B.A. in Political Science and minor in Leadership Studies. Prior to business school, Ned worked in consulting, starting his own independent consulting practice focused on healthcare tech systems. Along with consulting, Ned began acquiring MFR properties in the Maryland area, co-founding Yale Ventures which now owns and operates over 100 units. Ned spent the summer continuing to expand Yale Ventures, working on deal sourcing, broker and lender networks, property acquisition and disposition, underwriting, fundraising and much more.Ned plans to continue growing Yale Ventures post business school.
